Was Leivo benched? He took a bad penalty and didn't play much after that. Also Godwin with just over 2 minutes ice time. 3rd pairing also didn't see much time on the ice.
It'd weird but for once this season our coaching staff didn't massively overuse the bottom players on our roster during the game and we won! Who would have thought.
Nice to see the Flames win finally, albeit felt like they were playing with fire with all the PPs they were giving out. Luckily that was a vintage BDR performance. His best game in over a year. Should do wonders for his confidence!

Beautiful hit. Nice and clean. Keep that around for the whiners who say all of Tkachuk's hits are dirty. That is how you get even for a post-game puck flip. Score a big goal, get an assist, and wreck their captain with a highlight big hit.

He’s such a smart player. So many players would have skated through him in line, risking a head clipping play. Tkachuk keeps his torso square to him, and lands shoulder to shoulder.
