I don't think it's open yet. I drove past it tonight and it looked like it was still mid-reno.

I'm so happy that my new house is in the Seniores delivery zone, their donair pizza is diabolically good

We’ve started getting the half/half with chicken and beef donair. I don’t think I have ever used the extra sauce though. Just glad they aren’t using the dixie cups that inevitably spilled out into the box while you were carrying them.

False. Delicious, amazing, delectable pizza is never "too far away". You must be a "casual" pizza fan to write such nonsense. Please take some time and re-evaluate your priorities when assessing your commitment to pizza. Allow the pizza to guide you. Enjoy it's warm saucy embrace. Let it gently rock you. Hold you. Squeeze you. Drip on you it's greasy offerings. Then you will know that a truely good pie is always worth the trip.

We had Nick's for the first time ever on Friday. Now, I love me some Greek-style pizza, but wow, what a sad performance. I'm willing to grant it some leeway due to likely not travelling home well, but I guess that just reinforces the need to stick to the closer shops that I know do a great job.
Salt in the wound was paying $16 for 7 wings...

That's too bad. When I lived in Calgary, Nick's pizza was one of our favorites.

Nick's pizza is good at the restaurant, but soggy on delivery.

Niko's pizza is amazing. Just make sure you have lots of water after.

I find Noble Pie to be the best in the city but it's a real pain in the butt to actually get a pie.

Has anyone ever been to a "Pizza & Steakhouse" style restaurant and not had the exact same experience every time? It's always a descent but not higher end Greek pizza. If the pizza isn't totally fresh, it's a cold slightly bland tasting Greeks style pizza.

No, amazing pizza can absolutely be too far away. Nothing to do with the trip being too far and everything to do with how the pizza holds up 15/20/30 mins after coming out of the oven.
Some shops can make a pizza that tastes good 20-30 mins in a car ride and others make an amazing in house pizza that loses everything you're paying for on a long ride home.

Why are you driving the long ride home without eating your pie? Load the family up and have a pizza car picnic. This issue isn't on the pie, it's on your stubbornness for not eating the pie in its prime window. If you order a pie from Airdrie, only 15 minutes to downtown, but the prime pizza window is only 10 mins, plan accordingly. Simple. Respect the pie and no great pizza is too far away.
