This is quite upsetting:

However, a couple of features that customers have been requesting online aren't on the way.

There's currently no way to build a queue of movies to watch in the future and Netflix has no plans to implement one.

"It sounds really easy and it sounds like we should just do that but the engineering and the technical resources required to do that on a streaming service are enormous," Swasey said.

"It's about resource allocation and it's a strategic decision we've made."

I thought Netflix in the States had a queue? Could be wrong though.

I'm surprised at what is available, and especially what isn't.

No Slapshot....really? And the search function, for a lack of a better phrase, sucks it hard.

I will appreciate being able to watch Mad Men and Heroes from the beginning, though.

I have been using Netflix on my PS3 for a couple of months now, and am generally impressed. the only real problem I have is the new menu system. Why would they take away the ability to choose a genre and be able to see all of the matches on one screen? The constant side scrolling is so annoying.

It definitely does ... I suppose if it is in fact as hard as they say then you have to decide if focus needs to go on that or updating the library. As much as I want a queue I suppose the library is more important.

There doesn't seem to be very much from HBO.

Watched a couple of episodes from the first season of A Bit of Fry and Laurie, and can't wait to watch the rest. Very funny.

I think my Shaw connection is to blame, but once I finish watching the 3rd season of Mad Men I am canceling this. My connection speed is never good enough for HD and recently the quality drops so low it's barely watchable. I know it's probably not Netflix's problem, but it doesn't really matter because the end product on my TV is terrible. It's blocky as crap and sometimes the sound stops but the video keeps playing, it freezes and sometimes it stops altogether.

Yep, sounds like your connection (though 5.96 Mbps should be plenty). Must be getting bogged down during peak times.

In the many hours I've watched so far on Netflix, I've had to wait for buffering once, for about half a second. Quality has been perfect.

That's unfortunate. You get better download speeds than I do but the longest I've had to wait was probably 2 minutes for an HD show. There was no issues after that wait. Perhaps I'm not watching during peak hours?

I think I am going to try a wired connection test and see what that does, it could be a wireless problem or something. Sometimes my download speeds are much higher that. It doesn't seem to matter what time I am watching. But it's really annoying watching something that is such poor quality.

Stop downloading porn while watching... you're clearly using up too much bandwidth.

In all seriousness, I found a wired connection worked better for my Netflix, but that's to suggest that it went from a 9 to a 9.5.

Having the same kind of problem as Burninator. However, my connection shouldn't be the problem.

I am trying to watch on a wireless connection on my Xbox. It probably loads higher than the lowest quality (which is unwatchable, IMO) 1 in 6 times, and hardly maintains it.

I'll try a wired connection. If it HAS to be wired, then I am going to be pretty PO'd.

EDIT: Same BS on the wired connection. Lame.

Netflix Parties on the 360 is possibly the funniest and awesome thing ever. You watch the same thing and you can chat, etc. it is awesome. We watch stupid movies and just make fun of them, so awesome.

However, we are pissed we can't watch Iron Eagle.

Also, the Canadian selection sucks.

Try bypassing your router. Maybe it doesn't play well with Netflix.

I don't get it. About an hour after I posted I was able to get the HD stream, but only after 2 minutes of the program had run on the lowest quality.

Perhaps it was a problem on Netflix's end.
