I have to say, Yamamoto seems legit. Small guy but doesn’t play small and has great vision/hockey sense. Hate to say it but if Nugent and Yamamoto continue their recent strong play, they now have the secondary scoring beyond McDavid and Draisatl. Sucks to see but I’d still look forward to a battle between the flames and oilers in the playoffs.

For a 22nd overall pick and being one chosen by the Oilers who have a brutal draft record. Sure it’s odd and absolutely rare.

As far as anything past the round 1, our Flames aren’t any better so not much can be said until either club does anything worthwhile in the post season.
