I hope Gio gets points tonight.

He has been so consistent over the years. People outside of this market don't seem to realize that he's a defensive defenseman. He has basically every dimension in his game.
I think Gio has been the best player on the team so far this year (just inches out Tkachuk and Lindholm).

Unfortunately, if Gio wants to win the Norris, he's going to have to put up a lot of points.
The other defensemen point leaders are all young powerplay specialists (Reilly, Chabot, Dumba).
There's no question that Gio is miles better than all of them.

Still don’t understand why cable companies don’t just make PPV games. It’s blacked out here in southern Ontario even, though I pay extra for a sports package. I got sick of paying 35$ a month for out of market games for 30 teams, and 3 other North American pro sports leagues, I don’t really care about, but I could easily be persuaded to pay 5$ a game for the 20ish flames games my cable blacks out.
