The Farming Game is popular in our house. I love Axis and Allies, would like to try that other war game...Memoir 44.

Not a board game, but Cribbage and Crib Wars are awesome.

Mastermind was fun as a kid. Probably still fun now, of course I don't have it anymore.

catan is fun

there's one that my wife really likes - i think it's taboo... but i could be wrong... is that the one where you need to make your teammates say a certain word?? if so, it can be a fun game if you're playing with people that you have lots of inside jokes with!

If you like LNOE, you might like Castle Ravenloft, which is sort of similar, although CR is more co-operative, so you all have to work together more.

Another great, sort of similar game, is Arkham Horror, but it's pretty hardcore in its complicated rules and set-up time. It also takes a really long time to play. It's based on the H.P. Lovecraft mythos, so I may have a natural bias . . .

What no candy land fans? Got to say Axis and Allies and risk. I also really liked the space risk (risk 2050 or something) really put a twist on games because 3 random countries were nuked so it changed the game a bit.

Also not really a board game but things in a box is pretty fun.
