It's weird that Montreal only has two games to control their destiny.

Flames have 5.

Also, the Panthers are missing Hornqvist and Verhaeghe right now, who will definitely boost the lineup once playoffs start.

Oh yeah, and another fight breaks out after the Panthers play clean hockey and the Lightning get frustrated.

Oh....Gudas is looking for a partner. That should scare anyone.
I’ve wanted Gudas on the Flames since his Philly days. Those great hip checks!

Columbus/detroit game ended perfectly for team tank, with both teams picking up enough points to pass the flames

Lose out and it’s a top 5 pick guaranteed. Win even 1 and probably no better than 7th now

I am sure that Montreal will lose their next 2. Flames will win 4 in a row and then get knocked out by Vancouver in their final game. In the final game, they will come back from a 2-1 deficit in the third period with 5 minutes to go but then the Canucks will go up 3-2 with less than 1 minute left in the game.

End up with a lower pick, no playoffs, and heartbreak for fans. Oh, and management won't make any big moves because they were only 1 point out in a weird season.

It's the Flames way.

Looks like the nucks are going to let McJesus hit 100 points tonight so he can sandbag against Montreal

Tell me that McDavid isn’t an “it’s all about me player.” Watch on the opening goal he scored tonight against Vancouver. They didn’t indicate that he had scored and didn’t turn the goal horn on fast enough and Mister “it’s all about me” was swiveling his head around about to bitch that they weren’t going to count it. Guy will never win anything except individual awards.

He’s so selfish and unlikeable. Won’t be long until the trade requests.

Nashville clinched a playoff spot and Dallas is officially eliminated. 15 spots accounted for, only 1 remains.

I have a feeling the Hurricanes are absolutely going to murder the Predators in round 1. Possibly sweep them. They are so good and so underrated and never talked about. #1 in the NHL.

It looks like Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver are the only teams left that haven't clinched or been eliminated.
If Vancouver loses tonight, Calgary will be the last nonplayoff team eliminated in the league.

Lol. This is an insane take. The red light didn't go on and no whistle went to signal that it was in, and he clearly knew it was. Every player does this.

If the oilers get the jets maybe not... Jets are playing like garbage (unless they’re playing the flames of course ). I’d loathe the oilers to get out of the first round and gain some confidence.

If he didn’t realize it was in then why did he lift his arms as if to say what the hell, while looking around for an official. Watch it again a little more closely.

Nurse will finish in the top 5 for the Norris this year, so what if he can’t make a D to D pass.
