I am not at work today. It is not quiet.
Hopefully a simple Game Day Thread will bring about a simple win.

Play hard. Hit. Shoot. Save. Score. Repeat.

Go Flames Go.

The streak continues NOW

They are going to win this game. As a matter of fact I still believe this team wins the Pacific after a strong second half, much to the chagrin of some of the sky is falling fans on here. GFG!

Can't be a worse effort than last time in Minnesota. Clearly tired, ready to go home etc. I expect a much different game this time around.

I hope you are right but it's a fact and not sky is falling that they had a poor first half and trail the Oilers and Canucks after the first half of the season. They really need to kick the skid of mediocrity where win one lose one, win two, lose three, and go on a period where they are winning on a regular basis.

This is an important game for both the Wild and the Flames from a standings perspective. Flames win, tie the Oilers. Wild win, tie the Flames.

I feel like Minnesota will come out aggressively, hopefully the Flames feel up to the task and don’t take their opponent lightly.

Man I hate the Wild, have to be my least favourite team to watch the Flames play.

I hope they give Talbot another start today.

This is a big game. They need to show they have turned the corner and can perform in important games.

I am at about 57% confidence level that will happen.

I don't know. I would prefer that your starting goaltender that has a lot of confidence in himself. This may be why he tends to struggle when things don't go well.

My theory is that 2019 was just a cursed year for our Flames.
This is based on the same science as lucky drinks and taboo words before the opposition has been able to score a single goal.

So GFG in 2020

Or, you know, he's just joking around.
