With as bad as they have been. Haven’t they won more playoff series’ than the Flames in this decade?
What a poor trolling effort. In addition to just being wrong by somehow forgetting 2015, you get the incorrect use of an apostrophe and a weird cut off sentence.

My memory may be a little fuzzy on this. I think one of the first games Frolik played for us against the Oilers he got a hat trick, and I think his third was the game winner from behind the red goal line in the corner. I thought that was pretty neat, lols.
The jersey toss is the crown jewell. The Flames were in an all out rebuild and the Oilers were supposed to ascend to their destiny that season. Instead they up up 10 points back of the rebuilding Flames. The image of Ben Scrivens picking the jersey up off the ice will go down as a highlight of the century.

A Decade of Monumental Debacles -- A look back at E=NG in the 2010s

I dont know if it was that game or one during his first year with the Oilers where he made the Khabi-boo-boo. I remember that being a Saturday night game against the Flames too. I seem to remember that as him playing the puck by the hash marks and flubbing it.
He owned the Flames...than he signed with the Oilers and was instantly no good.

It was David Moss, and just missed out on the decade, as it was October 2009.

A team that was one period away from the Cup --- Seven years ago
Half the GMs in the league would trade their teams for ours
I know a little bit about winning if there's ever a concern
For me this is the one. The #1 out of them all.
2:28 is the pinnacle of it all.

And then all 3 stare down the reporter who dared to ask that question.
From that point on the propaganda machine was in full swing and it became clear the organization had to launch a massive PR campaign to keep the money flowing in. To me that exact moment in time is the defining moment of E=NG.
Pretty sure it was also around that time that shill accounts started getting made on HF promoting the work Lowe was doing and if posters called out the account, that poster and their posts got banned lol. It quickly got swept under the rug and to this day you're not allowed to talk about it on the site. Would love to know exactly how that arrangement worked between HF and the Oilers.

Bobby Nick’s “Something in the water” admission was so good I ensured I’d have it forever by uploading a video of it to my Instagram (for reference of important events I’ve saved there, Jagr’s goal at home as a Flame is on there too...)
A few weeks ago I think someone had posted a collection of gif's of Oilers coaches mouthing "f@ck it" or something to that effect. Those were good. Anyone have those?
Edmonton officially passed Calgary Saturday night, in both the macro and micro sense of the word. The Oilers moved nine points ahead of the Flames in the standings and will not be caught by their rivals this season. In the bigger picture, Edmonton is where Calgary was supposed to be by now, well on their way to being a top-10 National Hockey League team with an long and bright future. Calgary has been the better franchise for many years. They are not anymore, and are firmly in the chase position from this point forward.
Following season, the Flames had 6 more points. The season after that, the Flames finished with 28 more points (and placed first in the West).
The best part of this is:

Spector tries to fool people into thinking that Edmonton accelerated their rebuild... that Calgary is now behind. I imagine he might even believe it, that somehow the then current Edmonton rebuild was the first one, and that Edmonton did it better. Hence they were where Calgary was "supposed to be".
