I don't really think that narrative is true. What the difference in toughness from last year to this year? Hathaway to Lucic? Basically a wash.

I think that having Frolik, Jankowski and Rieder play together is redundant. They are 3 versions of the same player.

This is all about letting Tkachuk play hockey. The last two games it has been Tkachuk who has had to stir the pot and drag this team into the fight. It’s probably tiring for him and he’s our best player too. He shouldn’t have to be the one to do that.
Hopefully Rinaldo gets the Avs reacting to him because the Flames have been reactive as opposed to dictating all season long.
