I'm still bitter that the CSA and the CPL are playing favourites like that. Hope all three of those teams end up at the bottom of the table.

Is there anywhere you can prebook a bus ticket only? Looking to take the bus May 18 & 25 (already have seasons).

I think they offer the bus for $5.

The positive thing about the Canadian Championship, is that we face a team that has not looked good to start the season in round 1. Pacific are a really young team, and really do not have any fire power up front. Their "star striker" is out with a toe injury and they played an out of shape Nakajima-Farran up front. No worries...

Default 2019 Cavalry FC season

I’ve been trying to get a hold of Cavalry FC for the better part of 3 days now in hopes of getting some seasons tickets. I’ve received one email (which I responded to within 5min of getting it) and I’m still waiting for a response. No one answering their phones or returning emails. It has been awful!

Weird. I’m basically on a first name basis with a guy there as we’ve spoken like half a dozen times this week. I do find it’s easier to get a call answered in the morning, but they do seem to return calls. Emails on the other hand do seem to go unanswered. The communication at times is hit and miss.

I just find it surprising that they are having a hard time taking people’s money when they get that call/email willing to give it to them.

Is Foothills FC playing at Hellard for all 6 home games? And are the foot soldiers still going to go to those games?

Only the first weekend is at Hellard. The next 4 at the club's outdoor pitch. They tweeted the following out the other day:

VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Foothills FC Men's team will be play their opening weekend at Hellard Field, May 24 and 26
Our next four home games, will be the outdoor field at 111 Exploration Avenue SW #theclubsteam

I live beside Hellard so was hoping all 6 home game were going to be there. But the opener is good enough I guess!

Looking forward to seeing the state of the pitch on Saturday. Warm week with rain should really green it up and perhaps fill in some of the bare spots. I'm guessing the roof of the main stand may also be completed by then?

So there's now a few rows now listed on Ticketmaster as "partner promotional code required". Wonder what that's about.

Also interesting that a bunch more $60/$80 tickets appear to have been sold for next Wednesday's CCL game than than the Saturday game vs. Edmonton. Would not have expected that.

Do we know the format of the final yet? Is it two legs, or a one game at a neutral site type of thing?

This is very good. Get those matches up on the big screen.

Although OneSoccer is a bit inconsistent with getting the on demand matches and the highlights online, I’ve got no complaints about the live games. Early days yet, but I’m still pretty impressed and will definitely be putting $75 for the year. No brainer to me.

Out of curiosity what's the benefit in paying $75/yr as opposed to $10/mth?

May is free, then they play until October, so four months for $40.

Good question. Makes sense to pay June-October which will be $50. I guess the difference would be national team matches, although for the time being, I can only assume that those matches will still get national coverage on a traditional network.
