Big +1 for the Verge. I really like how they do live blogs. I like twit sometimes, but depending on how Leo is from day-to-day he can be super annoying. I remember the announcement of the greeting cards app (which admittedly was way too long) he just freaked out the entire time.

I don't think I'd like carrying around a phone much bigger than an iPhone. Making the phone a bit taller, like the 5 is fine, but not too much wider. Bigger isn't always better. It wasn't that many years ago that phone manufacturers were racing to see who could make the smallest one. Let's not undo all of that.

So, what are we expecting?

All but confirmed:
4" screen
slightly thinner
A6 chip
LTE
new faster connector
iOS6
Newly designed headphones included

Likely:
Improved camera front and back
improved antennas
improved battery time

Unlikely at this time:
Near Field technology
Built in moustache trimmer
self destruct feature

Other than the iPhone, it sounds like some items have been confirmed for today:
New iPod touch
new iPod nano
iTunes 11
"Loop" accessory (whatever that may be)

I read an article that says Data rates for the iPhone 5 will increase . Also users at AT&T who have been grandfathered in with unlimited data rates will no longer be able to keep the unlimited plan.

I've noticed that most of the people who complain about phones being too big don't actually own a big phone. Just an observation.

Wow, that's a shock, someone who doesn't like the idea of having a huge phone doesn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on one and be stuck with it for 3 years...

You are correct you will be making money, but incorrect in that it will be due to iphone's lackingness. Stocks generally rally before big product release news and then a sell off right after. So you are best to sell your put within the next 2-3 days.

Isn't that just people following through on what they are saying?

I just don't hear as much complaining from people who actually own the big phones. It's also naive to think that the majority of people fully reason out their purchases before they make them.
