Honestly, I cant remember which English pundit said it years ago, but I still agree with it.
"Don't be cute, just put your foot through it."
That was pretty much any pundits attitude covering English Top tier football from inception until about 1998. And not just about taking penalties, pretty much the same mentality for going into a tackle on any part of the pitch.
It always makes me nervous winning the games leading up to title matches against the same team.
I mean it's ####ing awesome for Chelsea's top 4 hopes but another Champions League title would be so incredible and get two birds stoned at once.
I have to say though that Tuchel has exceeded my expectations immensely. From his very first Chelsea interview he just had this air of confidence and it has transferred to the squad.
I just don't understand a club like Arsenal not willing to make such a change with Arteta. Shows the difference in mentality between the two clubs (but I think Arteta's time is almost done ).
that's top 4 done and dusted. Curious to see what Ole does on Tuesday against Leicester, I'd expect a weakened XI with a lot of backups and youngsters.
BHA just an unbelievable year in terms of shooting themselves in the foot and bad luck. I think that's 23 points lost after having the lead. Next year, when they qualify for CL, it will only be justice.
For us, probably the best I have seen from Traore and Moutinho in about a year, and Fabio Silva is finding his legs - I think he will be a nice player as soon as next season.

And to think, you posted this before Calvert-Llewin scored.
P.S. I guess you were just talking from MU's perspective, but it seems to be done altogether, though I suppose Liverpool can still have a half-decent go...

Matic has to play on Tuesday ... Mata/DvB is suicide. Also seeing Jones in a lineup is pretty funny lol, no way that actually happens. I guess either Lindelof or Bailly will have to play both games, maybe let them play 45 each on Tuesday? Looks good otherwise though, hopefully Maguire will be fit for the EL final.
