Running back Brady Oliveira said postgame that he didn’t believe the hit was dirty, saying it was “probably hard (for Brown) to try and avoid” hitting Streveler. Veteran offensive lineman Patrick Neufeld, who has played against Brown many times since 2022, told 3DownNation that he’s not a dirty player.

..OK?
He's injured 3 QB's this season alone by labour day. All 3 plays flagged for being roughing the QB or late hits. Whats the magic number for injured QB's on flagged hits where you would take action? 4? 5? Every starter the league has so we can watch backups in the playoffs?

Until the CFL takes action? As many as he can until he plays a long fruitful career and retires of his own volition.

Just when it appeared that BC had figured things out, they get crushed by the Argos, and Rourke got benched.

Rourke simply hasn't looked good. I suppose it's going to take longer than we thought for him to shake off the rust.

A lot of players are a shell of who they were when they come back from their failed nfl try. Not all, but more than half for sure. He will probably be better next year.
With that said - Stamps play today! Question is will anyone show up? Fans or the team lol…!

Looks pretty empty. Is the CFL going to last another 10 years?

I think if the product is good, they will come. Unfortunately, it seems all the traditional CFL hotbed cities have bad teams right now, whereas all the cities where nobody really cares about the league have the good teams. It's a recipe for disaster.

I was talking to my Dad today over Breakfast, and he asked my how I was doing without the coaching, and I told him it was nice to get a break after all of these years.
Then we started talking about football and he asked why I don't go to games anymore. I told him that budget wise it just doesn't fit anymore and the fact is that CFL football just isn't very good.
Even the Riders can't sell out their shiny new building, and that's a huge testament to the state of the game.

Yeah it's definitely way too expensive, especially for the current product. I'm jealous at the fun deals places like BC have, the Flames are just bad owners it seems.
On the plus side, solid start so far tonight

This team is an absolute joke, finally Dickenson makes the right call to have Stevens run it on 2 and short and a fumble....

Huge chance to take control of the game, deep in Montreals zone.
Dump of to Mills for a yard or two.
Embarrassing.
