Having that happen in the first inning is tough, takes the fans out of it a bit.

The only silver lining is more time to come back. 2015 ALDS game 5 Jays were down 2-0 going to the bottom of the 3rd and we know how that ended up

I was worried about this...not because of pressure but just because it's baseball and the numbers catch up to you.

August 16th was the last time he gave up more than 3 runs, 6 runs in his last 54 innings in that time.

He's a great pitcher but sometimes when you're on a run like that the bubble bursts at the worst possible time.

I think there's going to be a quick pitching change here. He doesn't have it at all.

Whoof. This is a total disaster.

Might have to get Berrios loose, or Stripling

I don’t think he’s nervous but probably overamped for this one. If he get through this inning, I’m pretty sure he’ll be fine.

Yes. Got out of that pickle.

A win here is still well within reach.

He made mention the other day how the extra few days of rest had him feeling really strong.

I’ve seen that happen to other guys before. Usually after a few innings they do settle back in

Okay, well the last two at bats looked pretty normal actually. So that's a good sign, trending in the right direction. Now they need Kirk and Teo to put something in play.

Left a couple of batters on base. Important inning for Manoah there.

Hopefully bats can do something against the 100s being thrown

Good finish to that inning. Just have to string some 0's up there and see what the bats can do. Castillo can be nasty but he has also struggled in September. Especially with his control. If the bats can be patient and wait for their pitches there should be no reason why they can't come back in this one.

Hope that strikezone stays consistent. Castillo sure wasn't getting those low calls in the 1st.

A Kirk walk, Teo single up the middle, and Chapman blast sounds about right

yes, what we need now is to put some pressure on Castillo and start building some momentum

Manoah will be good from here
