After reading the Ottawa Citizen article, Hoffmans lady accusing Karlssons lady of popping painkillers during the pregnancy. Whatever the truth may be, you don't go off in public about that. Especially immediately after the death of said baby.
That's a whole level of hatred towards another human being right there.

Would I like Hoffman as a player? Sure. But at the same time I'm not sure I'd want him in our locker room if he's gonna drag his piece of garbage girlfriend with him. The sens are in a bit of a tough position really. If the speculation is true and they can't/won't re-sign Karlsson is it really worth it for them to panic sell on Hoffman to appease a guy that's not in their long term plans?

The Sens have been shopping Hoffman recently and while it looked to be under the guise of salary shedding it might just be that they also don't want this around their locker room regardless of whether or not Karlsson sticks around.
It also answers the question of why (if not salary) they would want to move a talented winger who puts up points and found chemistry with Duchene.
Dorion must be banging his head on a desk somewhere right about now.

Even if Hoffman has nothing to do with this and dumps her a** to the curb, the damage in the locker room is done. Hoffman has to be traded whether Karlsson re-signs or is traded. This type of controversy cannot be undone or repaired. Too much of a gong show is to follow.

Man that organization is in shambles. That woman sounds more like the type of woman that Alex Burrows would partner up with. I don't know how you can be involved with a woman and not kind of realize she's rotten unless there's something about Karlsson and his wife that sets her off and she's an angel to everyone else.
