The issue is the owner has a hardcore fascination with the name Knights. He thinks it's the coolest thing ever.
All these names are his second choice, he wants to call the team the Black Knights. His companies are named Black Knight Sports & Entertainment and Black Knight Financial Services.

If I am the Army and the College I would ask for a percentage of all revenue generated under the name. Of course the owners of the VGK will not want to do that in which case I would tell them they have to change it. Pay up, pay big, or too bad.
