Valdar needs a massage. He faced a fricking firing squad while his teammates taking a day off.

The talent drops off significantly around 9-10.
The Flames have a good chance .

Last time the Flames lost two consecutive games by 4+ goals was in March 2018. The scores were 4-0 and 5-1. The assists on the lone Flame goal were made by Micheal Ferland and Chris Stewart.

Going to have a lot more games like this with the current defensive pairings and lineup.
Just want to level set with expectations for the last month of the season.
Marky can hide some of this current lineup shortcomings, but not all.
For competitiveness, it will help getting Zary, Pospisil and even Greer back in the lineup.

Ouch. Not a lot to be excited about there. I definitely took the Tanev-Hanifin pairing for granted and underestimated their proficiency against the hardest matchups. I hope Andersson has been playing through an injury because his gap control in today’s game was atrocious, just kept backing in with no challenge to the puck carriers.
I also hope this is a nightmare we wake up from when Pospisil and Zary come back and give Kadri back his powers. Pachal-Kylington also got owned. Lots for Huska to work on down the stretch.

Nothing would make me happier if we win the 4 games against Canadian teams and loose the rest.
4-14 should give us a great pick, Iginla anyone?
