Thats’s probably not an unreasonable(albeit hyperbolic) assessment on its own, the problem for me is when politicians try to pretend as though they are opposed to them and other “elites” when reality suggests otherwise.

Seriously though, I can't speak for everything else going on behind closed doors, but it was pretty much another business conference a la CES, SXSW, Cannes, etc. that I've been to. Lots of folks from Calgary there, and those were people that definitely vote conservative more often than not.
The worst part about it is that I had to wear a suit. Damn those globalists and big Menswear running the world secretly.

And your question isn’t honest because you’ve made up the premise. People (on this very board) were talking about immunity/vaccination passports as early as May 2020, not as “the government won’t do this” but as “they likely will and should do this.” There was never a situation where 99% of people said it would never happen (outside of your anti-vaxx bubble, I guess). The last 3-4 pages of this thread went off the rails because 14Roman14 made the claim that I can't be 100% certain that democrats aren't satan worshipping pedophiles (among other things).

The main problem with this is that the same logic could be applied to any issue/topic, which makes it pointless as a means of discussing anything.

For example...

Can 14Roman14 be 100% certain that conservative voters aren't all stupid and/or brainwashed?
Can 14Roman14 be 100% certain that Danielle Smith isn't actually an alien in human skin?
