Default Who to Use to Fix This?

The darned squirrels are at it again and now they are trying to get into my garage. It was chipped in one corner but now the squirrels are digging and opening up the hole more every day.

I want a good temporary fix that will last for the winter. I want to upgrade my garage next year with an epoxy floor and the like so just need a fix in the meantime.

Suggestions as to who to contact? Thx in advance.

I’ve never seen rodents dig up concrete.

Put some poison there and see if it stops.

If it is rodents, spray it with bleach and seal it back up.

Rona(and probably others) sell this stuff:

It's ready to use, just scoop it on and smooth it out. Takes a couple days to set.

i had somehting similar going on on my garage years ago - i belevie it was called spalling - or something like that

at that time i coached hockey with a guy in the paving business. Thru him i connected with a concrete guy come in and cut the concrete back a bit and then put some kind of special stuff in the area. it worked for about 10 years, then a few cracks developed. which i sealed this summer with some kind of "caulk like" product in a tube.

Will see how it holds up this winter. I am afraid I may have to try and find a concrete guy to come in again and i no longer regularly see the guy i coached with

Spalling is what you see on the right. It looks like it was either skim coated later, or not finished well. The thing is, when you get the epoxy coat it won't extend past the door(it will breakdown in the sun) so that area isn't getting coated anyway. I think the only proper way is to cut it back, but the filler I mentioned should work as an easy option to try first.

Almost 100% sure it is squirrels. Thx for all the suggestions. I will try that product from Rona that fuzz suggested. Hopefully that works for over the winter. Then next year, I will get a more permanent solution when I epoxy the floor.
