Warner Bros using their only money making superhero story arch for TV! Glad it's not on The CW.

Big fan of Donal Logue.

I really hope the focus is a lot more on Gordan and the police than on the kids, if it is I have high expectations

if it's not they drop considerably

With all of the pre-villain kids, I can't see this being dark enough to be good.

I optimistically disagree. We could actually feel empathy for these kids and what they went through to become the psychopaths they are. Those stories can be very dark. Although it's possible it could be less than good if the wrong people are behind it.

Director: Danny Cannon

He directed a lot of "The Tomorrow People" episodes. Ya, those sucked, but they were on the CW.

I am so damned excited to watch this. I am a huge Batman nerd.

I love these kind of shows, ever since Smallville. I loved Smallville, but with the darker undertone for this one, I think this has a good chance of being great. I just hope they don't ruin it with sub-par CGI. Go big or go home.

So Jim Gordon walks around punching youth criminals in the face while coddling the son of a dead billionaires son?

Hmmm, seems on the level with me

Remember in the 90's when kids shows would take their standard premise and make a show of the characters as babies?

This kind of reminds me of Gotham Babies

Agreed - from what I've seen of him in SOA and Law and Order I've really enjoyed.

It looks good actually.

The trailer looks interesting, the premise looks good and the cast looks excellent. There exists the possibility that this show wont suck out loud.

Yea I think this will be good, they have a lot of background to draw on for their stories.

I think Ben Mackenzie will make a strong Gordon.

Gotham... felt pretty rushed, sloppy and the acting was bad. They tried to cram way to many DCU characters into one pilot.

The best part about it was the hottness of Barbara:

Hopefully episode two slows things down a bit.. like I said in the other thread shows tend to change pace a bit after the pilot as they pick and choose what to keep. They have a lot to fix.

Did they really need to introduce every Batman character and villain in the first episode??
