Big win. At least the Canucks only have Holtby for one more year. The benefit of not signing a UFA goalie to a longterm deal I guess.

Out of all 16 non-playoff teams, only Calgary, New Jersey, and Ottawa finished 0.500 in their last 10 games.

On April 9, Calgary had the 6th OA pick. They will now pick 12th unless they finish 0-1-1 or 0-2.
I believe they're 9-5 since then. Calgary's playoff chances were never over 20% at any point in time.

Matthew Phillips has been the Heat's best player for 2 years. Where is he?

It's a good thing Markstrom played tonight.

Calgary is going to miss the playoffs by 2-4 points...they were certainly alive in all but 2 of those games

They weren't gonna lose 10 in a row and get 6th get over it.

Haha if anyone was doubtful, this team solidified how little mental toughness they have. Honestly, I am shocked they haven't brought in a few sports psychologists after the Avalanche series.
