Consentino is probably right, Brad if he sticks around is not in a patient mode. Needs assets that can deliver immediately, both either through the draft or in any trades. A new GM may have that luxury to try to build something but when you are on year 8 you really don’t.

I would personally be floored if the Flames take a goalie. I mean, maybe you do end up with a Vasilevsky or Knight, but those goalie picks feel so risky.

As dull as this game is in comparison with the awesome playoff games all season, you can see the Flames have become consistent in their style and effort. They have locked into a gameplan and it's working pretty well so far.

Ruszicka had some good moments, I thought. He made a clever pass on the cycle and looked like he gained some confidence. Thought that was a weak penalty call.
