Really liking the niche AEW appears to be settling in. They're not reinventing the wheel. It's just good, simple, fun wrestling. Jericho was hilarious last night. "Who the hell wears a scarf?"

Loved the show last night. I am glad they ended on a Moxley and PAC match, it elevates others to main event status while still allowing for the chaos between TIC and Cody. Also loved that DDP showed up, dude is looking incredible for his age.

Fun fact: half of those guys in the brawl were on TV with WCW 20 years ago (Jericho, Runnels, DDP, and Cody (who showed up as a kid once on TV).

Another fun fact, half those guys were also in the WWE (Jericho, Runnels, DDP and Cody)

Not as cool as Tony Schiavone commentating during the brawl. Leg up for the WCW connection

Reports indicate that most of the WWE employees that went over to work Crown Jewel are still stuck over there. I know it's a big money deal, but having the workers wrestle in Saudi Arabia and then fly back for Smackdown just over 24 hours later seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Yeah, I'm following it along, it sounds like a 3 part story.

Vince gets in an argument with Saudi representatives
Vince jumps on his private jet with other members of his team and waives by by
The rest of the talent and crew get stuck there.

Suddenly the headliner for tonight Smackdown is Missy Hyatt and Sunny vs the Rock and Roll Express.

Knox and Kai vs Asuka and Sane was the match of the week for me.

Maybe its because I love that Knox has fought through so much to get back in the ring, but that match was amazing.

That Saudi Arabia deal is just getting worse and worse for the WWE. Optics, storylines, talent morale .... What a disaster.

Yeah, as much as I loved the emotion that was shown by Lacy and Natty for the first woman's match in Saudi Arabia, I hate the fact that money is trumping doing the right thing.

I can't imagine that anyone is happy being stuck over there. And Smackdown will likely be terrible.

WWE seems to be in a bad place right now, their quarterly report wasn't very good and as a share holder I demand better

Hope everyone gets home safe, that is absolutely crazy and hopefully ends these shows in saudi

Super shows in Australia or Europe make way more sense

Thay being said, these kind of last minute shows they usually excel at

Bryant, Owens, miz, zayn there amongst others

Entire womens roster

Would be shocked if we dont see some nxt guys, especially with survivor series being raw v smackdown v nxt now

If WWE did a show like this every week, I'd be all over it.

Let Triple H run it?

Yeah, that's more or less the sentiment that's been going on for about three or four years here.

So I haven't paid attention to the shows for a bit - what's the allusion to a Raw vs. Smackdown vs. NXT Survivor Series? There is a Takeover the night before Survivor Series.
