Don't forget this is a shortened season and the Flames have points to make up. Unless the Flames completely fall apart I don't see Sutter reaching to the farm for unproven AHL talent. I think the AHL squad is a next year territory already.

Guys like Nordstrom and Simon were solid depth players who came from winning organizations. Sutter even alluded to that today.

Sutter will able to use guys like that effectively and I highly doubt he casts them aside very quickly.

The youngsters will get their chance if injuries pop up though.
