My 14 year old slept in a bit on Monday and I didn't get his arse dragged out of bed on time for him to catch his bus. So I drove him to school. Than I realized that my truck being 18 years old would have been like my Dad taking me to school I'm a 1972 truck when I was his age, and other kids would have mercilessly mocked me for being from a welfare family.
The other thing is that my Mom had Hip Surgery a few weeks back and usually she drives my younger kid to school since it's like 6km from our house. Houses in that area are from between 85 to 95, and the school was open in 92. I have to think no one expected this many people would eventually be driving their kids to school. I saw someone get in a SUV drive 200 meters down the road and pull into a driveway.

This is the "dip" in the roller coaster ride that is Sliver's mind. He must need time to recover after his really good ideas. Is that called a refractory period?

There is a standoff in Penbrooke. Its been almost 24 hours with suspect shooting at police. I wonder when they just say eff it and throw a molotov cocktail through a window and call it a day.
Would ensure officer safety and solve the problem.
Edit: I have no idea if anyone is in the house with him so obviously that wouldn't be a solution if so.

I can't fathom having the choice between Tim's and Robin's and going to Tim's. The donuts from the two places are so different in quality it's basically different food all together. Tim Hortons is ####ing disgusting.

FYP. Are we sure the frozen and reheated donuts Tim's serves are actually a food product?
I wonder if people who work at the sewage treatment plant are ever surprised or even impressed by some giant poos they see. Do you think this would come up during lunchtime chat?

I'd assume nothing survives in tact by the time it gets there. Unless you are crapping out carbon rods or something.

A related random thought, when I first saw the above video I marveled at the power of machines, and particularly, hydraulics. It is incomprehensible to me how much that load weighs and dude pulls a lever to lift it 20 feet into the air to dump it. Wow.
