I don't think there's enough in the pipeline up front to release that many forwards. I imagine Smith Poirier Shinkaruk at least get QO's

No way you give up on Pour or Pribyl just yet.

The rest who knows.

Well... that's kind of dictated by whose coming in. We could have Fischer, Dube, Phillips, and Gawdin. IMO I'd probably give a QO to Poirier and release the others. Maybe kick tires on a trade for Shinkaruk... like trade him to Arizona for Hickey's rights back or something similarly small.

Gawdin and Schneider are signed to NHL contracts and have to go pro as they age out of the CHL. Fischer can no longer play in the WHL as well.

Dube, Phillips, and Valimaki can play in the AHL next season but it is also possible to send them back to the WHL.

Next season the Flames have these players under NHL contract for Stockton:

LW: Mangiapane, Lomberg, Pollock
C: Dube, Gawdin
RW: Foo, Phillips

LD: Kylington, Healey, Valimaki
RD: Andersson

G: Parsons, McDonald, Schneider

Room to bring some if not most of these guys back especially if one or two of the above make the Flames roster next season. Also of course they will most certainly get some AHL veterans/journeymen.

What's the contract status of the Euroleague guys? I think Eetu is under contract with his Liiga team until 2020 but what's the contract status on Lindstrom, Just some other potential additions.

Lindstrom told Haynes that his contract is up after the 18/19 season, but if the Flames are willing to pay a transfer fee, they could get him out of that contract.

I suspect Carroll would get a QO over Smith, considering that Carroll has at least been playing in the A. But who knows

I keep almost everyone to be honest. Wotherspoon should be captain of that team if he isnt our 7th D-man next season.

Poirier and Shink i still think have some hidden potential, if not they are still solid options and leaders for the AHL team.

I do not keep Smith though.

I can't see both Rittich and Gillies coming back unless one is the NHL backup and I wouldn't be comfortable with either of them at the NHL level.
