Between the internal illness spreading through the team and the second of a back-to-back the Jets look like absolute ass tonight

I'm going to need a small farm animal for my ritual sacrifice for Demko's health. Anyone got a goat?

A longterm injury for Demko would not be ideal for the Canucks.

I believe you're a doctor - how did the injury look, to you?

Not me. But also, nothing that seemed to be noticeable.

Found a clip on Twitter where the HNIC panel discusses where they think he may have sustained the injury. They're guessing groin. I don't believe groin injuries keep players out for too long (total guess). Demko's been overplayed this season though, playing the 2nd most games of all goalies.

Luckily for Vancouver they only place twice in the next ten days. I doubt Demko misses many games. DeSmith has been decent this year anyway, he should hold down the fort in the meantime.

I worry about the Oilers somehow winning the division. So best for the Canucks to keep that spot.

Best After Hours I have ever watched.

Zadora was compelling. Great interview!

I'm glad he clarified the whole "trade demand" thing from Calgary. He mentioned that he originally wanted to stay in Calgary, but once he found out there wouldn't be a contract offer coming, he asked to be moved. Pretty much the same situation that happened with Toffoli.

The eastern conf. race is interesting. The Lightning simply demolished the Flyers 7-0. Raddysh had 5 assists and the Lightning were 3/4 on the PP. Vasilevskiy with the 25 save SHUTOUT. The 2 teams are now tied for 6th place, 2 points ahead of the 8th place Red Wings who lost to the Knights.

The Capitals beat the Bhawks 4-1 and that puts them 3 back of Detroit. Ovechkin had an assist.

There were 2 other games with SHUTOUTS. The Rangers defeated the Blues 4-0 as Shesterkin made 26 saves in the win. Panarin and Fox each had 2 assists. Demko and DeSmith get the shared shutout in the Canucks 5-0 win over the Jets.
