I was watching Resident Alien the other night and there was this brilliant conversation between the Alien and human when they're trapped after falling into a crevice in the glacier.
The Alien was talking about how the Aliens were originally welcomed on earth and helped humanity, but mankind changed and Earth was the stank hole of the galaxy. But somehow the talk turned to one of Harry's (aliens favorite movies, and he talked about Monkeys in a tree.
Something like
Harry - "The monkeys were in the tree minding their own business, until their territory was invaded by a girl and her friend and their foul dog"
The girl responded with a "That's the wizard of Oz Harry and the flying monkeys were the villians"
To which Harry replied - "Not to the Monkeys"
So just as a fun little game, maybe take your favorite movie and flip the narrative on it, take your favorite movie and write your own byline making the villains the good guys and the hero's the villains.
If course since I'm a Star Wars fan

A rouge band of government contractors aren't adequately punished after several experimental weapons accidents. So one man, husband and father to victims of one of the accidents, takes it upon himself to ensure they destroy each other, rather than continuing to hurt the innocent.

Not only does that not describe the plot of Interstellar, but Interstellar has no antagonist from whose perspective you could even perform this exercise.
Hopefully it's something else. If not someone should make that movie, it actually sounds pretty awesome.
