I'm really rooting for them, can't wait for game one. We need the internal confidence that coming from winning big games. Seems like our futures are finally getting those opportunities.

And the best part is that it's not just the vets carrying this team right now. Nemisz has 4 points in 3 games, Sylvester has 2 goals and 3 points in 3 games including the series clinching game winning goal, Byron's on a PPG pace in the playoffs, and Horak has 2 assists in 3 games.

I wonder if Leafs TV will cover this series live? I might actually finally have a use for that channel.

The sample size is still small. But's not about the individual contributions as much as the attitudes and atmosphere. Winning begets winning. That's how I see it anyway.

Rogers TV has the games live and I believe Leafs TV will play them later on tape delay like they did in the first round.

travel might be an issue in this series. The Heat are use to long distance travel. Sounds like it might be an adjustment for the Marlies

Is it just me, or did the writer forget that the Heat also have to travel the same distance?

Yeah, that was a pretty dumb article.
If I were to guess though, I think the point he was trying to get at was the Heat are used to travelling whereas the Marlies aren't.
Oh well, looking forward to the game tonight.
5-0 Heat. Kolanos (2), Sylvester, Connelly, Rheault.

They actually have to travel more because they had to fly to Toronto for the first 2 games but the Marlies were already there.

Sounds like there's a good chance Taylor will start tonight.
Again, the balance between Heat fan and Flames fan is being tested. For a Heat fan, you want the team to win, no matter what it takes or which players are in the lineup. Period. For a Flames fan, you're probably furious the heir apparent isn't starting and, thus, isn't developing.
Rest assured though Flames fans. The other prospects are developing under a winning system.

Just a heads up to anyone that's going to listen to the game right now:
The game starts at 5pm MT, but big stupid idiot Country 107.1 won't join the game until 6pm MT, but you can listen to the game using AHL Live radio here: http://ahl.neulion.com/ahl/

Also, if you're in the Toronto area the game is on Rogers TV live.
EDIT - Ryan Pinder will be interviewing Todd Button during the second intermission.

Max Power scores!! Nemisz and Reinhart getting to the dirty areas and getting goals!
EDIT - 1-0 Heat with 4:30 left in the first. Nemisz and Jessiman with the assists on Reinhart's goal. Reinhart now with 3 goals in 2 games against the Marlies.

Glad to see Nemisz producing well so far in these playoffs. Hopefully it continues for him.

Nemisz seems to have channelled something in him from all those post-seasons with Windsor. Good to see we have some winners in the organization.

Shockingly, junior playoff performers Max Reinhart and Greg Nemisz bring that level of poise to the AHL playoffs!

Freeway, are you watching on AHL Live? If so, has Max looked as good as Pinder is making him sound?
