Smith sets up Latour on a breakaway 5-2 Oshawa, 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

1g+1a for Smith.

Right after the goal McDavid gets a breakaway but terrific glove save by Appleby

6-2. Emprty net goal! 45 seconds left.

The Generals are going to win the OHL championship!!!!!

McDavid ends his junior career being held pointless.

Memorial Cup bound Hunter Smith!

The first of many times Hunter Smith leaves Connor McDavid on the sidelines at the end of a season.

Interesting that former Flames 1st round pick, Greg Nemisz, was watching from the press box for the Generals and was helping the coaches as an "eye in the sky" throughout the playoffs.

Perhaps his future in hockey.

That first photo looks eerily similar to Chara with the Stanley Cup.

9 goals and 9 assists in 21 playoff games is pretty good. Wonder if he'll turn pro this season?

I've watched that about 5 times in a row, does it not look like he is playing against hobbits?

That guy is a beast. The Mountain That Rides.

Smith gives Oshawa a 4-3 lead in their first memorial cup game.

Drives to the net and pots in his own rebound.

Liking more and more of what I see from smith. I know he might be a bit of a project and need time in the AHL but the stuff I see from a guy like Maroon for the ducks right now makes me think patience can pay off with Smith.
