Doin' It Right and Beyond are definitely my favourite songs from Random Access Memories at this point.

Giorgio is great and Lose Yourself to Dance has lived up to its name so far.

I enjoy the album version of Get Lucky way more than the radio edit

Doin' It Right is by far my favorite song on RAM. Overall I'm a little disappointed with the album but I knew I was going to be the moment they said they're going to head in a analog instrument, funky direction.

Watched the Rock and Roll HOF induction last night on HBO for 2013, so feeling a little nostalgic....yet it is still completely awesome. I think Ann Wilson's voice at nearly 63 is BETTER than it was in the 70's.....and Nancy, after dazzling with her flat picking as always, leads off the rocking part of Crazy On You with a leg kick as high as any she did at 22 when the song was new?

2013 inductee Rush with a couple of my favorites

Bastille takes a run at some of the hits last heard at Hurleys North. Get the remix album for free here : http://www.itsallindie.com/2012/08/d...r-peoples.html "Other People's Heartache".

Listening to Alice In Chains new CD, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. Once through, I don't think it is as good as the last one.

However, I distinctly remember being absolutely pissed off when I bought Dirt after the first listen. A week later I was talking about it being my favorite album (possibly) of all time. Don't see that happening here, but I might wind up liking it better than I do now. As an Alice In Chains fan, though, I will eat it up.

Seen a lot of Daft Punk and Vampire Weekend talk. I've heard "Ya Hey" a number of times now and find it to be, quite possibly, the second most annoying song of all time...right behind Rhianna's Umbrella song. Good grief, is the point to make music or just to be so different that everyone loves you because you make them think they are cool? And what's with the song title, trying to capitalize on the success of The Lumineers' "Ho Hey"? I'll admit, I haven't heard much more but I'm not sure I want to after hearing that abomination.

Daft Punk...just not a fan of dance music. I like instruments too much. I get why its popular, it is somewhat catchy. Have heard Doing it Right a few times. Meh.

Yes, I realize I am the guy that just admited to listening to the new Alice In Chains record so no need to go there. Generally I like a lot of the new stuff that gets posted in here by Trouty and macker, but can't get behind these two.

Anybody pick up Kodaline? Really enjoyed the two tracks from that CD I heard this week on Sirius.

DF - "Ya Hey" may be a call back to "Hey Ya" by OutKast?

Another explanation:

Ya Hey” is a homophone of “Yahweh”, the name of the Jewish God

Love that track

It's like the Robots have reached critical mass when it comes to creativity.

I wonder if it is an insight into what their next project will be
