Thats really the difficulty of Olympic sports and I think the reason many people have a tendency to prefer the more quantifiable events.
Sprinting - Who was fastest?
Pole Vaulting - Who was highest?
High Jump - Who was highest?
Long Jump - Who was longest?
Spear chucking - Who throws farthest?
Hammer throw - Who throws farthest?
Soccer - Who scored more goals?
And on and on...
They're all concrete. There is no subjectivity to them.
As opposed to conjectural and potentially biased events like 'Breaking' (which is patently absurd) but its not too much different from Winter events like Ice Skating or other events like diving or synchronized swimming or whatever...its a judged event based on dubious opinions rather than objective results.
Like...who are these judges? Any idiot can judge an event and just say "oh hey! That was cool...I award you many points!"
