Politics and government is just allowing the 90% of uninformed citizens choose someone who is just in it for publicity, to put in policies that benefit themselves without actually caring for big picture.

I always tell people the same thing "I drive a Napa auto parts truck.....yeah the one with the hat on the roof".
Everyone loses interest in my work at that point.

You know how people say "I could care less about ..." and someone will come along to correct them and say "actually, it's 'I couldn't care less'"?
To me, this ^^^ is the definition of "I could care less". It's when there's a subject that you have somehow gained knowledge about and have some understanding of but you gained that knowledge through no effort of your own and you wish you didn't have that knowledge.
For me, the Kardashians are a perfect example of that. I know things about them, but wish I didn't. I could care less about the Kardashians.

Reality tv and any of the talent shows, dancing shows, and game shows (other than Jeopardy, which I watch).
