All Leafs fans:

Quote:
Dave

Stop the puck, will you

Will you stop the puck, Dave

Make a stop, Dave

I'm afraid

I'm afraid of losing our grip on first place, Dave

Dave

My mind is going

I can feel it

My mind is going

There is no question about it

I can feel it

Good afternoon Gentlemen

Rittich reminds me of Rick Tabarracci. Not in playing style but both guys could be next world, steal some games and make some highlight reel saves with their athleticism but quite frankly inconsistent and often forced to make those type of saves due to poor positioning technically.

I loved Rittich when he was playing well and having some swagger but he was prone to long periods of mediocrity in between and feel we got great value in the trade.

Wasn’t just the fans turning. Keefe was pretty honest too in his postgame

If the Covid Canucks go on a crazy run here and somehow make the playoffs, that would just be the ultimate capper on one of the most embarrassing seasons in Calgary Flames history. The only thing worse would be the Oilers fluking their way to the Cup final with their garbage one line team.

I don't see it but it really wouldn't be the end of the world...they wouldn't win anything and the Flames would get a better draft pick when all is said and done

I have a feeling those last four games will be a try not to win off or even cancelled

I don’t know anything about Frederik Anderson’s injury, but if he’s close to returning Rittich may have played his last game as a Leaf. That was brutal.

Rittich is a very likable guy. Unfortunately he's not consistent enough to be a reliable goalie.
Unless he can change that, I don't think he's in the NHL too long. Hope I'm wrong.

Hard to believe he was an All-star last season.
With these divisional all star teams its not that tough to make it for a goalie and he was an injury replacement for Kuemper and MAF choose not to play. So he was the 4th pick for goalie in a 7 team division.

I'm excited to see Foligno in net on Thursday. He's a goalie right?

Did I ever not understand that take. Two overpayments for role players. I actually thought the sellers were the real winners.

The one thing you want from a backup is a guy who is always ready and can come in and play well after an extended break. Just doesn't seem like that is Rittich's makeup.

Sign me up for a veteran backup at a low salary. McBackup may be a little long in the tooth now. How much would Halak be looking for? Mrazek?

Well, Toronto's biggest deadline acquisition is Foligno, who hasn't played for them yet. Bit early to say about those deals.

But yeah, Rittich looks like not a good idea... to think, they could have just had Holtby for less than nothing and then they would've won those two games handily.

Carolina will be keeping Mrazek as their number one with Alex Nedlkevck or whoever as their number 1b I believe.

Riemer would be a great grab for a back-up though.
