Down 3-0 after period one tonight, Zagidulin started but was pulled for Gillies.

The Heat just bleed shots again though, 18 against in the first.

Kylington taking the demotion well it looks like. Looks like the team forgot to defense though.

Glen Gawdin is also above PPG.

RH center with size who plays a two way game, may be fighting to snatch that role from Janko if he doesn't keep up his solid play.

And....Minus 3 for the game...for what that's worth - quite the bizarro stat line!

the two assists were changed so Kylington only had 3 goals and 0 assists.

Not strange at all, in the AHL it is common for the home team to cater to the home crowd and give the home team all the stars in a win. Even in blowout losses it's not uncommon to see them sneak 1-2 stars as well.

This pleases me to no end. Little guys can lay the lumber, too! Just ask Altuve!

For those watching the games, how has Gillies looked so far? His stat line looks decent in the early goings.

16 points in 14 games (7 G 9 A) and a +12 over that span; he’s 5 away from the 12 goals he put up over 50 games last year in the ECHL which is great to see him getting rewarded and taking the next step. Rooting for him!

F Matthew Gaudreau has been recalled from loan to the
@AHLHeat
.

He's tied for 4th in the league with 16 points and has the best +/- in the ECHL (+12).

Have not watched any heat games this year. Any chance Phillips and Dube are ready for the NHL? Flames need more skill on the team and i don't see them able to make a trade to do it mid season. It's going to have to be internally.

Nice come-from-behind 3-2 victory for the Heat over San Jose. Justin Kirkland scores with 17 seconds left.

Philp, Lomberg with a goal each. Good showing by Zagidulin in net.

Dube recalled and Quine sent down.

Also Tyler Parsons assigned to the ECHL's KC Mavericks today.

Would assume that means he is now healthy and being sent down to get some games in.
