Ya, I got tired of the uninformed comments (see polak's 2 posts up) on results that were actually not bad so I didn't bother to update anything for this go around.
Regarding the games, 4 goals from open play is very positive. Been a while since that's happened. First international goals for Edwini-Bonsu and Cyle Larin. 2 clean sheets as well.
The Guatemala game was streamed over Youtube. The CSA tried to stream the Puerto Rico game over Youtube but apparently Wifi was not great in Bayamon.
What is ill-informed about a country the size of Regina playing much better than us?
They're on the verge of qualifying for Euro 2016.
Population has absolutely nothing to do with whether a country is a footballing power. By that logic we should be crushing the Dutch, Belgians, Portugese etc.

The CMNT quietly fires off a couple wins over the international break.
1-0 over Guatemala and 3-0 over Puerto Rico.
I cannot remember the last time they had 2 wins in a row, let alone clean sheets. I wish these were shown on TV.
The CSA's YouTube channel actually live streamed the Guatemala game (although I didn't know until afterwards), and the Puerto Rico game's stream was foiled by shoddy wifi, unfortunately.
So if you've got four hours to watch games that you already know the results to, have at 'er. The caveat is that the quality is about hat you'd expect from a home made stream.
Just Googled Canada's current FIFA ranking...that was a mistake.
Wellll when you don't win a game in 16 and lose to powerhouses like Martinique and Mauritania in that timeframe it's to be expected I think.
I'm really interested to see what happens in the Gold Cup, because this is the first official FIFA competition the team has under Floro. Will they continue to produce decent results like they have in the last 6 months? Or will they wilt under pressure like the U-20 and U-17 teams did earlier this year?

Ya I expected it to be bad, just hadn't looked in a while and didn't realize it was THAT bad.
We'll go up in the rankings when we demolish Dominica 1-0
This actually highlights an issue with the FIFA rankings - results are weighted based on the competition type and World Cup qualifiers are worth 2.5 times as much as friendlies. Any win against Dominica gets us more points than our friendly wins over Jamaica or Guatemala did.
What really hurts Canada is not having to qualify for the Gold Cup - all of the games in the Caribbean Cup or Central American championship have a nice multiplier on them which benefits the rest of the CONCACAF teams.

Time for a Trinations Cup? Maybe a Commonwealth Cup?
