This is the first year I've had to split Monahan into 2 parts, which makes sense following his career year. Part 2 will be up in a couple of days as it's basically complete, just need to render. Then I think I can squeeze Lindholm into 1 video to round out the big 5.
Classic response so far to Monahan lol though I do get it’s a quiet Monday in August I’m shocked at how little commentary there is so far; I mean there is so much awesome in this player it’s not even funny. I think he can be a guy the flirts with 90+ points if he is able to play more consistently rather than in bursts. We are so, soooooo lucky to have Monahan as our first line Center at the age he is putting up the numbers that he is. It also sounds to me like he is super committed to being that full 200 foot player in the interviews I’ve seen of him this year.
His ability to go skate to stick in close, his release and accuracy are elite. The way he can one time on his strong side across his body is something else.
He’ll never be a bruising hitter, but if he can improve his play without the puck and foot speed it would be huge for the team.
