Its been funny watching Stauffer on twitter as they cover off their prospects. Every single one of them is a sure fire impact NHL'er.

They so over promote that team.

What happened to Kailer Yamamoto? Is he dead to the Oilers already?

Working through some photo resolution issues, but I sense the birth of a meme. Michael Richards would be proud. This is the perfect Armitage image.

I've come to the conclusion that there's a Fake Steve Armitage response to every Oilers news byte.

He'll be the next one to be branded a selfish kid, not a team player, no commitment etc and be run out of town for it. Just like Yakupov and Puljujarvi.

Kailer Yamamoto had wrist surgery over the summer. He is still recovering.

So he'll be playing on the first line in pre-season, right?

Didn't see anyone post this gem in here yet- https://edmontonjournal.com/sports/h...off-in-2019-20

This screams to me of an owner who feels underappreciated and directed the comms team to write something up.

All of it is a giant facepalm.

Definition of a puff piece right there. It would bring a tear to a glass eye.

Katz personal PR team must have written that and slipped the byline to their most avid TV watcher, David Staples.

Man are they lucky Talbot stood on his head in that 16-17 year, a typical season would have dropped their season point average to the 60s. That is some kind of bad.
