Due to the high amount of shots in the season opener, Coyotes were forced to start their backup. Turned out to be a great decision.

Knew this one would be a tough game against Edmonton. Really missed Hedman on the back end as the team doesn't have the defensive depth it has had in prior years. Still happy with the start to the season the first few games in.
