Just a tremendous game between K State and Michigan St.

That Nowell kid put up a tourney record 19 assists. Also 20 pts, 5 steals and 3 rebounds.

Zags up next against most hated UCLA....and their goofy blue and gold scheme.

Dont like Gonzagas chances unfortunately, Bruins are really good, and the dogs have a couple issues.

But thats why they play the game.....Go Zags!

Madness.

That was a helluva good look for UCLA with 1.1 seconds and no timeout.

when he let that go from 35 ft, I was thinking WTF is he doing?! Seemed like they could have had a better shot - and then it went in.

That's what March Madness is all about

Yeah that was a pretty wild second half. Florida Atlantic also came back with a huge second half to advance. Fun tourney so far.

Its a shame Florida Atlantic is playing KState... someone's Cinderella is going down.

i read that only UConn has won a national title of the remaining teams, so good chance that someone new will hoist the trophy this year.

Yup, 3/4 of the teams that had ever won it before lost today. UConn v Arkansas have both won before, and they obviously both couldn’t lose.

A bunch of the teams left have never made even the final 4.

IMO it's smart play design in that situation - low % shot, but chance for a big rebound (or foul and extend game). So often teams wait for a 'good' shot that never comes.

I mean, it worked, sure, but even for a good shooter, that shot has, at best a 30% chance of going in. If he misses, you might get the rebound, but that's a tough gamble, especially when at least 2 of your players are 25 feet away.

I get the point about shooting early but they were only down 1. A drive to the basket is a higher probability play - you can score and/or get fouled.

Watching this Bama/SDSU and the first thing I hear from the announcers is “Oh, he got clipped by Miller." Absolutely stupid thing to say knowing what happened.

So....not one #1 seed even makes the final 8.

Who had that in their bracket?

All the teams left have four titles among them. All belong to UConn.

And also after the Mountain West’s recent failures, I’m happy to see them last longer this year than the 40 teams from the SEC and Big 10. Go, Aztecs!

If I have to watch this lady with a moustache commercial 1 more time, I might murder someone.

I'd gladly take that brutal NYFries hotdog commercial at this point

This has been a wild tournament. It is setting up nicely for a Gonzaga championship.
