CPL has taken a bit of a #### kicking lately but this squad shows how it is starting to help Canadian soccer.

Were it not for CPL, Zator has been an accountant the last 5 years. Were it not for CPL, Loturi is going into his final year at Mount Royal.

Couple new GKs signed. Stewart Kerr to a USports contract and Joe Holliday to a Dev contract. Hope Carducci doesn't get injured. I've heard Holliday is pretty solid though...

Getting excited for the upcoming season! Only a couple weeks away! Leads me to ask, if you have a favourite Cavalry moment, what would it be? I'd say for last season, it was Bevan's goal versus the Whitecaps last May.... SO good:

Personally, the 90th minute winner vs Forge in August. It was already a tense atmosphere going into the game with the security issues and when Forge tied it in the 82nd minute people were losing it. Cantave became an instant hero with that goal.

Shameless plug for our YouTube channel but we managed to capture the aftermath including smoke bomb malfunction. Doesn't totally capture the sheer pandemonium of that moment but it's close.

A couple other moments for me was chanting under the stands during a pregame rain delay, taking my daughter to her first match watching her dancing to the chanting in the supporters section, and the whole post game after the playoff game.

One of my personal favourite memories was Escalante riding the corner flag like a horse while demolishing FC Edmonton in the last home match of 2019

Man is going to games ever fun. I really can't wait. I know the Cavs might struggle, but nothing beats watching sports in the sun.

Yeah I don't have a ton of confidence in the squad this year, I think we finish fourth or fifth and that Forge unfortunately takes it all again (what a crazy roster they have as of now). That said, I don't care - going to games is fun, and the best bang-for-buck value in the city for sporting events. I love being outside, downing dranks with friends and waving a flag amongst other hardcore soccer nuts. Nothing better!

It an evening or an afternoon well-spent. It's more about the journey, not as much about the result IMO. Cavs make a great game-day experience.

It is probably worth mentioning that single game tickets are on sale.

When renewing season tickets, is the parking pass automatically renewed too or is that a separate thing?

It's a separate option. If you do drive a lot though, it ends up being worth it in the end.

Unless you share it with another buddy, and the two of you keep forgetting it at home.

The first Whitecaps visit in the inaugural season where we heckled and booed Adnan mercilessly.

No one quite knew what to expect against an MLS side. Going into that match, we woulda been ecstatic with a draw. Leaving the match, the draw was disappointing because of how well Cavalry played.

Norman Jr signed a short term deal in League Two. Step up for him if we're being honest.
