I'm hoping Kirk is in every game, DHing or C, just simply because he battles through pitchers. Teoscar just swings at everything. Goddammit.

I'm guessing no Gurriel this weekend?

Big bats simply have to be better, Vladdy and Teoscar have gone down really quick and quiet

So much excitement. So much disappointment.

Look at Castillo's demeaner on the mound. He's walking off the mound after every pitch like he knows the Jays have no chance.

Nope. Off the roster for now because of his hamstring. Best case scenario is he's available for Houston series if we make it there.

Damn, Mayza with 3 outs in 7 pitches. Talk about a job well done.

Hey MLB TV, when you black out your subscribers from watching playoff games, we don't go and buy expensive cable packages in response. We just pirate the games.

Stranding runners has been a problem for the Jays for many stretches throughout the season. It's a problem that has never really been addressed.

The hit stat is misleading though. The Jays have 2 infield hits and 2 bloops. The Jansen ball to deep centre was the only ball that was hit hard to the outfield. What we're actually watching is one of the best pitching performances in recent memory. Castillo is just embarrassing the Jays and it shows.

I think it's a coaching issue. It's probably hard for Schneider to come in and change an approach mid-season, but this has to be coached right from the start of next season.

Anyway, this isn't over, but right now I'm totally willing to deal Teoscar and Chapman for the right price. Gotta have more leadership with a lineup which is now coming into their prime. Can't waste it with so much undisciplined approaches and play this season.

What Castillo is dealing today is special and he hasn't made many mistakes. His stuff is beyond nasty today. I don't think many teams could do much better than what the Jays have done so far.

What the hell just happened? How does the guy strike out the side after 90 pitches? How do you allow that to happen?

Yeesh, glad I didn't buy a ticket for this. Brutal.

Way to much credit for Castillo, Jays hitters are the problem...

I like Chapman and defense, however the Jays have to move Teoscar and look for a quality lefty

Anyhow, hope they can pick it up in the 8th
