Where do you park for this thing if coming from Calgary ?

Is there a designated parking area or can I just park in font of someone's house and hope there isn't a sign on a tree...

No designated parking areas. People park on the side streets surrounding the downtown area. There's also businesses that don't open on Sunday that have lots for parking.

One more thing, please don't park your dark blue Ford Explorer 2003, Eddie Bauer edition on my driveway.

Judging by the number of people downtown I would think this years event was a huge success.

This year I focused on the older trucks and took pictures of some of the best.

First up is a 1952 Dodge Fargo pickup.

Thanks Dion for the pics. We were headed home from fishing trip and happened through the area while the show must have been shutting down. It felt like a time warp driving amongst so many old cars and it was pretty cool.

I met some friends at McDonalds later in the afternoon and out the main window was a constant stream of classic cars heading home after the show was over. It was like going back in time and watching a live remake of American Graffiti. So awesome!

Great show, some terrific vehicles there. Everything from crazy rat rods to a 1912 Ford.

I dont get this. Sure, its a nice car, but it isnt a classic, they didnt restore it, they just bought it.

"Look how much money I have!"

I had a similar issue with a Camaro owner:

Sure, its a nice car and all, but it just rolled off a showroom floor. All you did was buy it and you put it in a carshow? Call me when you've actually built or restored something.

A car like that is just as much at home on a new car lot as anywhere else, not a car show.
