I don’t hate it but I also wouldn’t mind letting Pelletier marinate and build confidence in the AHL all year.

The average is 2.5

Calgary's 9th guy is 2.0 (Trevor Lewis)

Teams with great 9th guy output ...

Florida 5
Pittsburgh 5
Minny 4
Buffalo 4
St. Louis 4
Jackets 4
Toronto 4
Detroit 4
Washington 4

Some good teams in there.

Calgary is near the top for players 7 and 8 however.
Isn’t our 9th Lucic?

Gaudreau 19
Lindholm 18
Tkachuk 15
Mangiapane 14
Monahan 9
Dube 7
Backlund 6
Coleman 6
Lucic 6

Those are total points. Bingo is talking about even strength production.

Any reason I can no longer see tweets within posts? I use tapatalk on an android phone. Even if I tap the link nothing happens. This is a new issue in the last few days. Thanks.

You went total points, not 5 on 5 points.

I think 5 on 5 is a better way of assessing a third line as PP time is either held exclusively (Edmonton) or spread around depending on the team.

Calgary's 9th forward likely doesn't see any PP time.

I think if he continues to play the way he's been playing, he's making a case for a call up. There problem is Sutter favors vets, so even if he gets called up, he may not actually play.

I don't necessarily disagree but 4C is to me the most glaring hole. Pitlick can skate and check with Dube and Backlund, but Richardson and Lewis really don't accomplish anything. Lucic deserves some fresh young bodies to mentor.

Under the old no OT no Shoot out era rules he is not "6-7". He's 6-3- with 4 Ties.

There was no loser points just 1 apiece. (Vladar was the goalie in Washington)

Just sayin

It’s crazy Johnny only has 2 PPP.

He is having the best season of his career I think in regards to all around play.

Too bad it took management like a decade to realize strong coaching actually matters.

Wait, seriously? This is a regional game despite being on a Saturday night during prime time for the east?

Embarrassing is what that is.

Nm. It’s not blacked out. It’s just only on one channel.

Ceremonial starts tend to harm the home team more if they are required to be out on the ice or on the bench, while the opposition relaxes in the room.

Haha 4C is not the most glaring hole.

2C or 1/2RW are much higher on the list.

Ruzicka might be in line for a look as 4C soon.

Not unlike Kylington, he will get his chance. Hopefully fired up and runs with it when it comes. Take that step and make it impossible to take him out.

Yes sir this is a great option and probably doesn't kill us asset wise

Looks like Islanders are without Pelech, Pulock, Greene, Lee, Beauvillier, Bailey and Johnston. More people to the COVID protocol list.

Chara-Mayfield
Salo-Dobson
Aho-Hutton

Oh my.

They should just rename the pre-game show for HNIC, The Toronto Maple Leaf half hour extravaganza.

My god its remarkable how Leafcentric everything is on this show.
