Lance Storm was twice as electrifying as the Rock was at his peak. Maybe I'm misremembering...
His blunted affect during his promos was hilarious.
Is this a joke? Peak Lance was nowhere near Rock’s level, even on the Rock’s worst day. Don’t get me wrong, he is an incredible in ring talent, but it’s well known that Lance Storm struggled with his Charisma, which is why he’s been a heel for 98% of his career.

Are we talking the same Lance Storm.
Look I was a fan of his work, but he was as electrifying as a dead battery.
Even in his show World of Hurt he's completely dead pan.
The best episode tho focused on Tom La Ruffa who spent some time in NXT and TNA. He completely disrespected Storm and Storm made him pay, starting at 12:36

You must be new here. Stamps only choke in the Grey Cup game.
Stamps 45 Bombers 5
Not entirely true . . . . all of the following were home field West Final chokes:
The worst part of these chokes was that in basically every case the Stamps were the class of the league and likely would have pocketed another 3-4 Grey Cups had they won these games.
Since 1990 Calgary has a 10-9 record in the West/North Final.
At home as the favorite the Stamps have a 7-6 Record
On the road as an underdog they have a 3-3 Record
Against Saskatchewan they are 0-3
Against Edmonton they are 7-4
Against BC they are 4-2
The source of choking can basically be isolated to playing the Riders, because against BC & Edmonton for every home choke against they have a road upset victory. In the Playoffs broadly since 1990 including the semi-finals the Stamps are 2-6 vs. the Riders. So going into the game on Sunday, thanks Bombers, you likely reduced the likelihood of a Stamps choke many times over by keeping the Riders out of the game.

Just re-watching the 2017 West Final between Edmonton and Calgary - Eskies have taken a 14-0 lead nine minutes into the 1st quarter (Derel Walker was wide open courtesy of a busted coverage).
/It certainly wasn't looking good early a year ago.

That's the reason I preferred the Bombers to the Riders even with the Riders QB situation. There's just something that happens to the Stamps when they face the Riders in the playoffs. Surehanded receivers start dropping big passes. Ball security goes out the window. DB's forget to cover receivers. Officials forget the rules. For some reason the Riders seem to get in their heads and maybe it's because of the media circus and extra attention they bring to town that distracts the team. You look at this week with the Bombers coming to town the chatter is minimal but if it was the Riders there would be much more attention by the media and the coaches and players would be asked a lot more questions.

LOL....i forgot about the decision by Maas to kick a FG down by 7 with under 2 minutes left. Probably should have lost his job for that alone....nevermind the debacle this year was.

lol - I just re-watched it and a year later, I still can't believe it.
Edit: And there's the fumble by the Eskies returner of the Maver punt and the Stamps recover. Game over.
Edit 2: Suitor just wondered if Maas thought it was a 6 point game. Maas=NG
