It's the Curse of Leivo. Ever since the Leafs traded him the 4th line is trash and he is playing great in Vancouver.

Eriksson plays with Roussel and Motte, sometimes Gaudette. He hasn't played with EP in quite some time now.

I think I could play net for the Flyers. At least as well as anyone else that's been offered the job.

I laugh at all those people saying the Ducks were finally trending down when they started slow this year. Just like last year, and the year before. Doesn't matter what players they have or who gets injured, they always find a way to win

Less people guaranteed than those who would’ve thought that John Garnet Hathaway would have more goals as well.

Neal is going to be our post Christmas pickup without having to acquire him.

Both Minnesota and Dallas are on a very slippery slope right now. They will probably want to pick it up before even the Canucks move past them in the standings.

3 at 4 in overtime

Kessel with the GWG on the PP. Matt Murray was in net for the Pens, he was off for a month with an injury and comes back to face 41 shots in the win. Cullen with a SHG.

This final score was so predictable as it was the 3rd straight game between the 2 teams that the score ended like this and the Habs have won all 3 games. Coach Julien gets his 600th career win. The Senators were out shot 48-17 in the game (16-3 in the 2nd period). Can't blame McKenna who was in net for the Sens, he really played well with his team showing fatigue as the Habs score 4 goals in the final period. They played on Friday night and it showed.

3 at 4 in overtime

The Panthers PK was excellent as they went 4-4 including a double minor being called on them. Barkov with a hat trick including the GWG. I liked his first goal as it came at the end of the 1st period on the PP. The Leafs were called for too many men as one of the Panthers saw the Leafs doing a line change and sent the puck towards their bench and a Leaf player touched it. Great 3rd period come back by the Leafs who were down 2-0.

The Canucks get out to a 3-0 lead 11 minutes into the game and cruised the rest of the way. The Flyers are using their 3rd and 4th string goalies right now and it is showing as the Canucks fired 24 shots on the Flyers goalies. Markstrom did play well in net for the Canucks as he faced 31 shots.

The Stars-Avs game was a good one with lots of goals and shots. It was 3-0 for the Avs after the first period and Khudobin was pulled after that. The Stars slowly came back and tied it in the 3rd period at 4-4. The tie didn't last long, 76 seconds later Landeskog scored the eventual winner. Colorado won 6-4 and the shots were 42-37 in favour of the Stars. McKinnon had 4 points.

The Predators win in the SO over the Devils. The Predators were 91 seconds away from winning in reg time when Boyle spoiled the potential shutout win by Saros. The win puts Nashville back in 1st place in the western conf, but, no ROW.

Weird scheduling, the Sabres and Capitals played in Washington and will play again in DC on Friday.
