No Pettersson tonight so go ahead and take tonight off from watching games. Take the wife or girlfriend out, get some brownie points.

The problem with watching Pettersson is that it requires having to watch the rest of the Vancouver Canucks, and they are all awful.
Watching the Calgary Flames's Elias does not necessitate the same risk.

Pacioretty did a Sergei Kostitsyn if you will.

Ugh, another butter-soft schedule for the Oilers over the next three games.
Flyers
@ Canucks
Blues

Neither guy has fit in on his new team.
Both have 4 years remaining after this one.
Neal at a $5.75M cap hit.
Pacioretty at a $7M cap hit.
James Neal is 1 year older.

Does Paciroetty still have 4 years left? I thought he was signed to a 4 year deal or does that not start until next year?

No one cares about him. That's the weakest Elias in the pacific division currently.

Damn I would have considered that trade, but not without Vegas retaining salary or adding something to the deal.

Cory Schneider pooping his pants in public again.
3-0 Vegas 9 minutes into the game. The last shot was a Mike Smith special.
Edit: Kinkaid replaces him.

He is the Elias who wins. Pettersson is about as inspiring as the Canucks insipid blue jersey...
...or the other blue jersey...or the black one...or the blue/red blend...or the canary yellow abomination.
