Amazing that Spurs still have zero draws this deep into the season.

You mean with the injuries? They cruised to victory today!

Honestly, I am shocked they pulled it out. That was insane and from two of the most unlikely players IMO.

Betting odds say huddersfield are done

-3300 to go down

Rest still a bit up for grabs

Fulham -400
Cardiff -200
Newcastle +400
Burnley +150

No one else close, Southampton and palace are next but odds way higher at +1600

Other end of the table

Liverpool -150 to win title, city +120, spurs +8000, united and Chelsea +40000

Top 4

Liverpool -200000, man city -150000, spurs -450, chelsea -200, united +150, arsenal +350

Emiliano Sala, who was just signed by Cardiff for a record fee, was on board of a small plane which disappeared from radar over the canal yesterday. Not looking good.

Maybe not the best time to post this considering the Sala news but where can a guy find the Chelsea vs. Spurs match on Thursday?

I have Sportsnet and Sportsnet World etc. but it doesn't look like it is being broadcast anywhere on my guide. I will be at work during the game so I am hoping I can PVR it or somehow watch it later on in the day when I am home. What's the best option?

DAZN, if you have that? I don’t know if you want to watch anyway though. It’s an uninspired Chelsea against a bus-parking Tottenham (hopefully).

LOL very true.

I am mostly just hoping to see the Higuain debut providing he can be registered in time.

I will register for DAZN now - thanks!

Oof another injury for Tottenham.

Dele Alli out until March now with a hamstring injury.

Yeah we're in trouble. I mean when he was injured this weekend it looked bad, but the confirmation just makes this terrible for Spurs. I know we'll be hearing about how we can't win trophies, but realistically Chelsea should have a pretty easy go against us this week to advance. Just nothing appears to be going well for us at this point.

If only there were a process that existed wherein a club could sign players from other clubs to bolster their own depth. Perhaps some sort of "window" that opens up a couple of times per year. Unfortunately, as a Spurs fan, I have no knowledge of such a mechanism existing.

Yeah and I guess that's the easy solution if you have piles of cash at your disposal. I think it's a bit unrealistic to think that you would go drop say $150m as a club to get a CM, AM and striker to get through the next ten games. But I know...we aren't ambitious.

You wonder if their cheapness in the short term might cost them dearly in the long term. Can't imagine Poch stays if they drop into Europa with there likely being little to no money for transfers. Eriksen could head out to Madrid, and of course every summer is Kane speculation time. Imagine going into the new stadium next year with Europa and a mid table squad. Interesting few months ahead for Spurs.

Korea won in extra time earlier, which meant 30 more minutes for Son.

I don't think anyone is suggesting to spend $150M, but $50M between the summer and now would've have provided at least a couple more depth options.

Well we could sell everyone and not replace them and get relegated I guess. Who knows...but I have a hard time seeing that take place.

I just think that looking at the larger picture we have a great team, brand new state of the art stadium, have had CL football for the past few years and we still get dogged by rumours that all the best players are going to want to leave. it's the general "Poch can't win a trophy" followed by "we really want him at United because he's amazing". Who knows. I think that things look bad for us now, but somehow hope we can muddle through.

Well realistically, where do you buy? Let's say they spent $50m on a CM which is probably our most dire injury situation so far. We still have no one for a replacement for Dele/Kane/Son.
