They are probably playing the long game just like the league. As the league grows so does one soccer.

Honestly, it seems more like a European company having no real clue the state of the market it was entering. But that's just my own personal speculation.

To cover a $20 million annual investment, they would need about a quarter million subscribers or more. That's far more viewers than even MLS draws.

Currently at the Cardiff City and Real Valladolid match in Edmonton. Fun game, lots of supporters. FC Edmonton has a booth set up to sell jerseys. It's deserted.

The Whitecaps are not good. Take away Reyna’s runs and close on Adnan early and they really have nothing else to go to. Montero has to be one of the laziest players on a pitch I’ve ever seen

Chatted with a few Whitecaps supporters at the match tonight, they are really worried for Wednesday!

Foothills WFC won their semifinal and will play LA Galaxy in the UWS final today at 5 pm. I think a few of us supporters are heading to that game right after the York 9 game.

Cavs wearing green today. Not sure if I like that. I mean, the away jerseys look great, but a Calgary team in that colour just doesn't feel right.

Nice build-up regardless.

Seems OK for me on the Apple TV app, and I also checked the iOS app right now and it also seems fine. What device are you using?

On my laptop. Your comment led me to refresh the stream and its fine now

I just assumed onesoccer were at fault based on their track record.

I was going to half-jokingly suggest “turning it off and on again”.

My stream has the audio way ahead of the video. I can only assume they've been learning from Sportsnet? The refresh didn't work.

Massive save. That was huge. 2 points salvaged by Carducci.

Fairly crap game in general though. But - another win!

And how does Forge top the table? We're tied on points and they've played one extra game...any other league in the world and they're in second.

I know it's not relevant, but these kinds of things just irritate me.

The CPL tiebreaker criteria is whichever team signed their league paperwork first.

That isn’t the only way for them to make money off the deal. They can sell rights to the CPL around the world. Also they are very obviously trying to make it more of a Dazn like platform by adding other leagues, which will bring in more subs.

I hate the Forge favoritism too, but it's goal differential. They have a difference of +4, Cavs have a difference of +3.
